The Leopard and the Lily podcast explores the history, times and people of the Hundred Years' War. 

Most episodes follow a narrative style, where the author will (attempt to) tell the story of this conflict between the Kings of England and the Kings of France between 1337 and 1453.

In addition, JF will use his reenactment experience to talk about the customs and lives of the people who lived through the Hundred Years' War. 

About JF, the author

I am a 40-something Québecois with a lifelong love of History. About a decade ago, while I was looking for a new hobby, I stumbled upon historical martial arts. Specifically, a school teaching the fighting arts of Fiore dei Liberi, a 14th- and 15th-century Italian master. And, through that school, I made new friends that introduced me to historical reenacting.
